Michael Townsend and Kyle Hill founded an app called Flowtab in 2012 to allow bar customers to order drinks from their phones, but it failed quickly due to lack of funding. They then focused on the healthcare industry, launching HomeHero in 2014 to connect elderly patients with caregivers. HomeHero now has over 800 caregivers in its network, offering services at lower costs than average. It aims to eventually operate nationwide. Hill came up with the idea after his father had bad experiences with caregivers caring for his mother in Seattle.

If you are like many people, even the thought of delivering a speech in front of an audience will get your palms sweating. The fear of public speaking ranks high among the most common phobias, and for good reason: most of us approach the situation with the wrong mindset, which in turn makes us live out our worst fears in a public forum.
As Michael Parker notes in IT’S NOT WHAT YOU SAY: How to Sell Your Message When It Matters Most (A TarcherPerigee paperback; on sale January 2016), our fixation on the content of our words – and not the presentation of ourselves – is what brings us down. Once the Vice-Chairman of London’s Saatchi & Saatchi, and one of the world’s most experienced advertising pitch men, having made more than 1,000 pitches in his successful career, Parker has learned first-hand that an effective presentation, a job interview, or even a speech at a wedding hinges on our ability to portray ourselves as passionate, relatable, and collected. But, if we are focused on what we say, and not how we act, we will fail to persuade our audience.
Applied in the boardroom, at the pulpit, or even in conversation, these tenets will help you present better in any situation.
At Officevibe, we end our daily standup meetings with an inspirational quote to start the day on a positive note.
Whoever’s turn it is to speak holds a basketball, and the last one to speak has to come up with a quote of the day.
Everyone puts their finger on the ball, and when the quote is said, the ball gets thrown up in the air and we all say “think about it”, as a reminder to really let the hidden meaning of the quote sink in.

This document discusses how mobile travel booking continues to rise, with 17% of flight bookings now made on mobile. It breaks down the travel journey into "micro journeys" at each stage from dreaming about a trip to returning home. It also discusses using a user-centric approach to communication by optimizing messaging based on where travelers are in their journey. Ancillary revenue from airlines was $60 billion in 2015, so the document also covers taking an intelligent approach to the booking path to improve ancillary sales.
This document provides guidance on having difficult conversations by discussing how to make such conversations safe and productive. It notes that crucial conversations are discussions where stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. Such conversations often go poorly due to factors like biology, surprise, confusion, and self-defeating behavior. The document outlines how to start with the right motives by focusing on what you and others really want, rather than protective behaviors. It also discusses how to notice when safety is at risk by looking for signs of silence or violence in conversations. Specific tactics are provided for rebuilding mutual purpose and mutual respect to make conversations safe, including apologizing, contrasting to repair misunderstandings, and using C.R.I.B. to

Watch full webinar here: https://buff.ly/3Fmc74I
- fornire tutti i dati aziendali, in tempo reale e senza repliche;
- creare e condividere più modelli logici con un semplici operazioni di drag and drop;
