How to follow Jesus, Do you see Jesus? Who is Jesus today? Can you repeat wha...franktsao4
In today’s society, Jesus Christ is often spoken about, and everything is Jesus Christ. Some young people in Sunday school even answer Jesus Christ no matter what the teacher asks. But Jesus Christ is not in the flesh today. Then, if a disciple want to follow Jesus Christ, just like in ancient times, how shall we do it in the present time. We must understand this matter clearly, and should not be shouting like slogans, and has no benefit. This chapter will discuss this issue in depth, I hope everyone can be benefit from this discussion.
Core_Personal Relationship with Jesus ChristStephen Palm
In this fourth sermon on Geneseo Evangelical Free Church's 8 core values we will focus upon our commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. From the earliest chapters of the Bible we see that God had a personal relationship with Adam and Eve. And as mankind falls into sin, that relationship is tested and changed, but God continues to build friendships with people like Abraham, Moses and David. And then, in the NT we see that Jesus has a circle of friends, but he expands that circle to include us as well!
Henry Lepke's sermon slides point to three reasons for the resurrection of Jesus: (1) The promises of God in the Old Testament, (2) The Identity of Jesus Christ, and (3) Our Justification.
Just a Closer Walk with Jesus was originally designed for a Bible study, then used for a women’s talk, and finally put on a Bible study blog. The slideshow presents relevant Bible verses in a memorable way to help Christians understand and deepen their walk with Jesus. Enjoy and God bless!
Disappointment. Discouragement. Hope. Our world has enough of the first two. Where can we find the third? As we continue “It Won’t Always Be Like This,” our series in the Old Testament prophecies of Micah, we see God’s answer to the question, “Where can we find hope?” Micah prophesied judgment and hard times ahead, but in chapter four the tone changes dramatically, and the picture is one of peace, security, and prosperity. But its source is found in none of the things commonly touted in our world today. Where and when can we find the life for which we all long? See Micah’s (and the Lord’s) answer in, “How to Get There From Here.”

8th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Liturgical Year A)ruth (Malta)
I've enjoyed preparing this and love the message God is giving us this Sunday. I Hope that all those who see it will like it :-) On a seperate note: all pictures remain property of their rightful owners.
God has created so MANY MANY MANY beautiful animals and this presentation may be used to help children learn names and appreciate better the beauty of nature around us :-) God bless all those who will see/make use of it. (pictures were found on the internet)
The love of God for each one of us has no limit - Mercy is given to ALL and ANYONE!
- may we seek it and may those who fear approach: those are the ones to whom God gives mercy with even more abundance: for they are humble.
I LOVE this Sunday's readings. - I don't know what it is with Mass readings BUT each Sunday they seem to be just PERFECT in the message they give. I pray that all of those who are going through hard times may see that Christ is indeed with us. May the Peace of Jesus reign always in our hearts - but more especially in the hearts of those who are troubled or hurt.
Malta, Malta! You have received so much through the ministry of Saint Paul and the witness of Blessed Dun Gorg, Blessed Nazju Falzon and Blessed Adeodata. As you move into the future, be faithful to the legacy they have left! Follow Christ with undivided heart, and never be afraid to speak up for the truth that saves and the values that lead to life! May the Virgin Mary, Mother of the Word Incarnate, accompany and protect you always, so that you will never fail to "give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds" (Ps 107:15).

We are One Body! - 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C)ruth (Malta)
Lord Jesus we are all your children and You love us all. But some of us are far and no longer come to listen to Your Word, nor do they receive the Sacraments. Take their fears, open their ears and give sight to their eyes. Show them Jesus how much You love them! Help them to approach You and fill them your joy and peace. Amen.
Through Baptism we become children of God and NOTHING can ever change that! We could be the WORST people on this earth but nothing would change the fact that we are children of God - LOVED by God and CALLED to live holy lives: with HIS help ;-)
- God bless you!
ps: If Christ was Baptised then HOW can ANYONE say that Baptism is not necessary for Salvation? ...was it just a show?

Pilate asked a question as Truth stood before him. It looked him right into his eyes but he did not see - or maybe he DID see but could not bear it. He ordered His beating
Maybe Pilate was a coward - he allowed Jesus to be nailed to the cross but even so, he washed his hands - he did NOT want the blood of Jesus on his hands.
...maybe he was just confused but even if he was, deep down, something within him KNEW that there was something about this Jesus - why else would he have washed his hands?
Pilate wrote a sign - maybe it was intended to mock Jesus - but when the Jews took it seriously and wanted to change the wording Pilate refused. Pilate was pagan and yet he himself declared Jesus "King" - and would not change what he - Pilate - declared about Christ :-)
Pilate - a pagan - declared Jesus Christ "King" whilst he hung on a cross and so it is! OUR KING is Him who chose to die such a death - for us with love.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
