India Leadership Conclave 2019 - "Opportunities" - The 5 Trillion Dollar Miss...Indian Affairs
India's $5 trillion-economy plans looks good on paper but it needs to address gaps. India Leadership Conclave is of the opinion that India needs foreign direct investment (FDI) urgently, and lots of it. Since FDI, unlike portfolio investment, is long-term patient capital, entrepreneurs and bankers like to examine proposals very carefully.
India’s record on the dispute resolution front has also proved to be extremely worrying. That is why most investors prefer to insert a clause allowing for international arbitration from a seat outside of India.

2. Inger Solberg
It was a wonderful Wednesday a ernoon, when the three of us got together for a shoot in
Goa for the gorgeous and valorous camouflage collection designed by Inger Solberg and Liv
Barfoed. I simply fell in love with the name of their brand ,“LIV-ING” as it signifies “Soul”.
Liv and Inger have been friends for the last 32 years and their passion for creating a line together gave
life to LIV – ING. Both Inger and Liv are gorgeous women who have gained expertise in
their respective professions.
4. Inger is a celebrated designer from Denmark and she fell in love with designing clothes since
she was 17 years old. She kept on practicing new creations and by then her heart knew that
this was her calling. She went to a formal school of Design to train herself as a Designer. As
destiny played it’s part, she came to India in 1989 and she felt a deep connection with the magical
country. She moved to India permanently in the year 2000 – she smiles and adorably says, ” Mera dil
pakka Hindustani hai.”
Inger started her factory in New Delhi and she initiated designing for reputed private labels
like H&M, BeYoung etc. LIV and Inger, proudly call their collection ” Madam Soldier” .
5. Inger says, “she has always faced challenges like a ghter and friends compare her ghting spirit to
that of Goddess Durga”. So this collection is a story of a woman who possess a heart of a warrior.
I love the way Inger describes their collection as “Rough and Romantic” and shares that, “As a
woman, one has to be rough to survive in this world and also be feminine to be in sync with herself and
the real world.” I love that thought!!
Liv Barfoed has been a former model and she was the rst stylist in Denmark. She has been in the
fashion Industry from the 80’s. She also educated herself as a designer and worked for many Danish
companies one of them being “Royal Copenhagen”, where she designed a huge accessories collection. She
has done many editorials and fashion shows for a lot of big Danish brands and Givenchy & Balmain
in Paris. She has been involved in promoting reputed brands in Denmark. Liv has also worked as a PR
and a Marketing professional and she continues to bring her expertise to their brand LIV-ING.
6. The collection is made of high quality cotton produced in India. The printing is also done
in the country itself. I love the romance added by the lace on this indomitable print, doing absolute
justice to Inger’s depiction of “Rough and Romantic”. It simply makes it exotic! The best part about
camouflage print is that, when adorned, it doesn’t need to be blazoned, as it just declares
the bold attitude of a personality.
7. The collection represents a robust and a fearless vibe. I love the fact that women of any age can look
spectacular in this collection. The dresses are breathable and light and can be beautifully accessorised
with beads and funky earrings. The style can make anyone stand out and that is the euphoria created
by LIV-ING for their summer collection.
8. Well, I simply loved shooting for LIV-ING and ” THE MADAM SOLDIER ” collection has
definitely stirred my emotions for now but wait till you see what LIV – ING has in store for
you in their Fall collection. I cannot wait to grab my hands on it and I promise you, CAMOUFLAGE
IS HERE TO STAY!!!

As the year 2017 came to an end, we welcomed 2018 with new energies, inhaling
positivity and exhaling all that does not serve our greater good .......this year is the one of
transformations and brilliant achievements. I am most excited to write on my fashion blog
- "Her Tinted Closet". I pondered for days to find the right name for my baby blog. I loved
the name because it reflects my personality - with many shades and stories to share.
Love for fashion was instilled in me ever since I started recognising the magic of uniting
the right combinations. An attire can create a spell, if they are perfectly put together. As a
child, I would team up outfits innovatively and look beyond the ordinary. From being a
fashion connoisseur, and a model, I ventured into the equity world and gained insights
into business. I am also a trained actor and have acted in plays and short films. Being a
spiritual seeker - I am also into healing. This has changed my vibe as a human being and
has made me understand the power of a human mind and energy. Chic Styling has been a
part of my personality.....My ultimate fashion icons have been Cindy Crawford, Latetia
Casta, Gisele Bundchen, Claudia Schiffer, Monica Bellucci. Style is just never about brands
alone, but how you bring out the best, by embracing yourself, keeping fit and
understanding your body and styling it with a fabulous ensemble of fabric and accessories.
My love for fitness has always inspired me to push limits to achieve higher goals. I believe
that one's physical, emotional and spiritual self should be aligned to bring a balance in life
and manifest the best for self and others. So Love your mind, body and soul.....It is a way to
be aligned with the universe!!! Spirituality has always fascinated me......the path has only
lead me to discover the divinity within and strive to be the best version of myself. "Her
Tinted Closet'' will give all the charismatic style lovers access to the chic, elegant, sporty,
edgy, sexy, bohemian, casual, and many more hues waiting to be discovered. Lets unfold
the journey together - WELCOME TO "HER TINTED CLOSET"

I just misread “Liv and Inger have been friends for the last 32 years”,
and thought that YOU and Inger had been friends for 32 years”.
Then I thought: “Wow, this woman looks really young for her age!
(or maybe she was friends with her since she was 2 months old)”

Hahahah ! Yes I guess I was friends with Inger in my head perhaps as always wanted to
be a model and international designers were always a fascination for their vision …. not
