8. Dynamics
of Bold Color
&Tribal Elements
It seems as though men’s spring and summer fashion has been
quite consistent over the past few years, but we’re finally getting a
glimpse at a more diverse variety of styles within 2012’s transition
into spring and summer.
That entire skinny jean craze for men (which started
back in late 2009) has faded away quickly on the
runways of Paris and Milan during fashion week,
and we’re now seeing several designers showcas-
ing a wider leg. For example, Burberry Prorsum
revealed some rather intriguing spring and sum-
mer denim styles featuring a wider-legged informal
pant, which resembles somewhat the aesthetic of
a skinny jean – just a little wider in the leg.
When we focus on color this Spring, I’m also in-
trigued with the choice of boldness, it’s an entire
new perspective this season; instead of the usual
bright reflecting colors, designers are now working
with the mixture of off-white and bolder tones of
tropical colors. This trend is most noticeable within
Giorgio Armani’s latest spring and summer collec-
tion, and even in the Tokyo fashion scene as well
with new styles by Takeshi Osumi (also known as
BIG-O) – who recently featured his latest “Phe-
nomenon” collection during Tokyo’s Spring Mer-
cedes-Benz Fashion Week. Tommy Hilfiger is yet
another designer capturing some of this off-white
essence, who seems to be pairing it with black
and white stripes in his recent spring and summer
campaign.
As trends become more innovative for men, the
consistency of newer styles will eventually start
to reflect throughout many other local retailers as
well. These new styles can already be seen at large
American department stores such as Bloomingda-
les, Nordstrom, and even at smaller retailers like
Zara.
Although color is always an important aspect of
spring and summer, I’ve noticed another trend that
designers are currently starting to implement within
their collections on the runways – tribal elements.
This trend has appeared in several of previous col-
lections for women, and it’s amazing to finally see
tribal elements branch out into the men fashions.
I was able to gather a few tips from some of the
stylists during our most recent photo shoot for
the fashionable men looking forward to updating
their wardrobe for spring and summer. Make sure
to add some bold primary colorful blazers to your
wardrobe; they’re perfect for layering with t-shirts
and polo shirts, they also pair well with knee-high
shorts, and sneakers or loafers as well. Another
trend worth adding to your wardrobe are off-white
pants, and don’t forget about adding those tribal
element prints as well; the same steps of layer-
ing can actually be applied when wearing these
trends as well.

12. Art is Love,Passion, Heartache,
Detachment & Everlasting
William Braemer, is the Director of Art Fusion Galleries in the Miami Design District
an artist as well, creating paintings and mixed media sculptures. “I am from N.Y. and my
childhood was like a Sidney Sheldon Novel. My mother was very supportive; my father was a
business man and not so much.” Life inspires William to paint, his motto is, “Life consists of
the good the bad and the indifferent all inspire me in one way or another.”
Currently working on a “Red Sole” a series of
sculptures,” the first one I finished for the Red Dot
art fair and sold immediately it was titled “High
Maintenance” The latest series of paintings are in-
spired by Monet and the thought process of how
he would have painted and the colors he would
have used had he been living in this ere here in
Miami…”
Miami is very rich in culture and history, William art-
work reflects his environment, all artists create par-
allels from their surroundings. “What is Art? To me
Art is EVERYTHING! Art is Love it is Passion it is
Heartache it is Detachment it is Everlasting… Art
is Life!” No wonder William’s audience perceives
his with a smile☺ “My art is a reflection of my life
and I love life.”

The sports design of this 26-meter yacht has
evolved from its preceding models, the 63 Vertigo
and 68 Ego. Intended for long cruises and daytime
trips, the Domino has numerous recreation areas,
both in the bow and the stern, as well as in the
bridge. This pleasurable triangle-shaped yacht
looks haughty, with her white and infinite mats, be-
fore the astonished stare of navigators who admire
her glory.
This design is completed by the guest and crew
cabins, which can accommodate 20 passengers
who will definitely look forward to traveling on this
unbeatable and fast ship named Riva Domino

33. For the
Love of Music:Julissa Veloz
33HIDDENTREASURESMAG.COM
34. Hidden Treasures Magazine is f@$king ecstatic
to expose this independent artist! Julissa Veloz,
the 23 year old Dominican from Newark, NJ is
paving the way for pop dance music with a bit of
an edge. Her current song “Mayhem” is a smash
hit and climbing the Billboard Charts along side
with her follow up dance club single “Sweet Sug-
ar Poison”. This bad girl has been establishing
her music career since the age of 5 years old and
by 2010 has become an international pop sen-
sation. Just coming off her latest overseas tour,
2012 has been a year of great success but now
she home in the states ready for Summer 2012
and ready to take on America with “Mayhem”.
“This year I did a lot of growing. I added two
more Billboard top 20s to my repertoire. My
songs were licensed to several countries and
award shows including the Alma Awards this
year. Because of the success of my records this
year I have been able to tour the country and
perform for all my friends and fans. In 2012 I plan
on recording a full album and to continue tour-
ing. Obviously I would love to reach commercial
success and constantly tour, so I plan on releas-
ing a lot of material while the album is being re-
corded to saturate the market and increase my
fan base.”
Her astounding eminence has lead her to pack
shows anywhere from 250 people a room to a
stadium of 10,000 plus audience with millions
watching on screen. Coming back to the U.S.
has had great moments, but the market is not as
remarkable as it is overseas for a music artist. It’s
a huge contrast, but it is a change she is willing
to adjust to for commercial achievement.
Doing pop music can be viewed as you having to
dull down your lyrics but Julissa’s musical flow is
a bit of acoustic sound with a just go ball to the
wall tone. What makes her music different from
other competition is, “Well, for one I can actu-
ally sing everything recorded live. A lot of sing-
ers nowadays rely on engineers to make them
sound perfect and then use high backing tracks
or lip-synch when they perform. I sing everything
live, every single note. I also write my own music
and have started to do my own production. A lot
of vocalists rely on other people to make their
music for them and I can’t sit there and act like I
love a song that I never had anything to do with,
SOOOO, I guess I’m different because I’m real.”
The news on her return is spreading fast and
the U.S. is bound to see a real artist making real
moves for her fans. She has sacrificed a lot to
get here, however these are sacrifices that are
worth creating growth for a true international
music performer.
“I made A LOT of sacrifices to be where I am
in life; one was being offered a job right out of
college and having to turn it down since I needed
to have an open schedule for touring. Relying on
touring and sales for income is really petrifying.
It’s been working out and I want to thank you
HTM for this interview as it is hard enough to find
an outlet that believes in you enough to expose
you to their audience. Plus, the girls are hot in
this magazine soo that makes me feel good that
I can sit side by side!”

37. Hollywood’s famed Chateau Marmont had the
pleasure of acting as the ultimate venue for a pri-
vate, VIP viewing reception for artist, Domingo
Zapata and actor/painter, Jordi Molla. Hosted by
Bertaud Bélieu rosé, the posh event proved to
be nothing less than spectacular.
Recently named one of Whitewall Magazine’s
“Artists to Watch,” Zapata is garnering much at-
tention after some 20 years spent creating art.
In fact, Zapata, who keeps a studio at Marmont,
has been a best-kept-secret among contempo-
rary art aficionados for quite some time, selling
out completely at private events such as result-
ed with his Polo series at a Hamptons Polo Club
in 2005. This particular show, while maintain-
ing true to his craft of producing figurative and
abstract expressionist paintings in both oil and
acrylics, as well as mixed media and collage,
also acts as a platforms from which to unveil his
first ever installation piece—a 12-foot long, illu-
minated sign reading ROCK STAR.
Of course, the stars came out in droves to sup-
port these talents. Amongst some of the stellar
attendees were: actor, Johnny Depp, artist, Mr.
Brainwash, Jeff and Lori Hyland, Haute Living
publisher, Seth Semilof, artist, Mohamed Hadid,
actress, Katarzyna Wolejnio and artist, Antonio
Del Prete.
Domingo Zapata, artist and former songwriter
for Michael Jackson, Jon Secada, and Los Del
Rio (“Macarena”), will display his most recent
paintings on April 16 at a new Soho studio. Be-
ing called the city’s best-kept-secret amongst
contemporary art collectors like George Soros,
Zapata has quietly but surely gained critical at-
tention to his wrok. His Polo series pieces were
a hit at a private Hampton’s Polo Club Event in
2005 when they completely sold out.
Zapata has gone to show his work at Parisud,
Carmen de la Guerra, Société Générale Monet-
carlo, the Fairmont Hotel Montecarlo, and the
Joffrey School of Ballet. The group of paintings
and collages that will be shown range from sub-
jects of polo horses to matadors, and from fla-
menco dancers to elephants.
Domingo said about his inspiration for his paint-
ings: “Polo horses remind me of my youth and
love for horses. Bullfighting is a passion that I
even practice when I go back to Spain at my
friend El Litri’s estate (he is the best bullfight-
er in the world and one of the nicest persons I
know)…He is my inspiration for this motif. The
Flamenco series I owe to designer Vicky Martin
Berrocal, one of my muses. She introduced me
to the deep sounds and magic of Flamenco, the
beautiful colors of Andalucia and the soul that is
called Duende…that is the miracle of flamenco.”
He has also been recently experimenting with
collages, inspired by street art and the city of
New York. Says the artist of his foray into col-
lage, “I am using a more urban approach with
mixed-media, influenced by the streets near
where I stay and the time I have spent in New
York. I love using vintage posters and imagine
what would happen to them if they were post-
ed in the street. What would street artists do to
them? Even how the weather might affect them.”
Domingo Zapata has had a successful period in
business, but he follows his one true love, art.

HTM: What does photography mean to
you?
Michael: It means that I get to create some
great (and even at times amazing) images and
have fun while doing it.
HTM: Name 3 photographers you admire,
past and/or present?
Michael: Arny Freytag, Jarmo Pohjaniemi,
David Mecey
HTM: If someone gave you $3000 today to
spend on photography equipment, what
would you buy?
Michael: Lighting equipment! Good photog-
raphy is all about the lighting. A new camera
isn’t necessary (even though it would be
nice). Getting the most expensive camera
doesn’t guarantee that you will get great
images. I always say that it’s the photogra-
pher that makes the image not the camera. A
great photographer can use a point and shoot
and with the right lighting can still make an
amazing image.
HTM: Do you rely on lighting (natural, or
artificial), or do you rely on dark-room/
computer manipulation?
Michael: Just like my answer above, Pho-
tography is all about lighting so therefore, I
rely on lighting. I am part of the shoot the
Centerfold family (which are seminars taught
by the top Playboy photographers) and their
main tip is “Get it right the first time!” and I
use what they teach us and my knowledge in
lighting to try and do just that.
HTM: Mac or PC?
Michael: PC
HTM: Besides your camera, what is a
must-have at each session?
Michael: A very good question. I guess
“technically” something I just started to use,
which is my xRite Color Checker Passport
color card, but more importantly a fun atmo-
sphere. If you have one of those then it will
definitely show in the images.
HTM: What inspires you on a regular
basis?
Michael: It’s a corny answer, but beautiful
women.
HTM: In general, during a session, how
many pics would you say you take to
find “the right one”?
Michael: It could be the very first one or after
you have been shooting for a while. I guess I
try and find multiple “right ones”
HTM: If you weren’t a photographer, what
would you want to be? Why?
Michael: A Broadway Lighting Designer
because by trade I am a theatrical lighting
designer and my dream one day was to win a
Tony Award.
HTM: Something that few people know
about you.
Michael: If I don’t know you, I could be very
shy.
Thank you for sharing your images with us!

54. Tasha Malek aka the Southern Belle aka Posh
Princess from the New Bad Girls Club Season
7 New Orleans is originally from Huntsville, Al-
abama and now residing in Miami, FL after the
finished season. The Posh Princess is not only
beautiful to look at but gorgeous to listen too,
since becoming a public figure this “I’M so
CLASSY” idol shares her insight on how being
on a national TV show is definitely an experience,
“Especially re-living it months later, just to be put
under a microscope for people to judge you off
a highly edited TV show is slightly unfair. No re-
ality TV show is “REAL” reality. Many viewers get
so caught up in other reality TV stars “TV life”.
Regarding ME personally, I haven’t changed! I
am the same person I was before the show as I
am now, maybe besides being a little wiser :) I’m
much grounded! I will always remember where
I came from and just thankful for the blessings
and opportunities I am given.”
Her Persian Princess heritage comes from her
dad, who was born in Iran. Tasha shine is just
as illuminating as her nationally culture, which is
unique and amazing and with her father being
such a big inspiration in her life, it is no wonder
she oozes confidents, uniqueness, success, ex-
oticness, independences, and determination!!”
Being on a reality show I was put on display, but
the audience should know I only showed what I
wanted expose.” No wonder her favorite acces-
sory is her family, “They are so supportive and I
thank God for them every day!”
Bad Girl Tasha wants the world to know she is
not like what the show depicted. At a young
age, Tasha had already started doing photo
shoots, including print work, several calendars
and magazines. She plays soccer, loves sports,
and shooting guns. “I own a Suzuki GS 500
street bike and love riding my motorcycle.”
Even though Tasha is not on TV anymore, you
will still be able to admire her, as she will be the
face of her own clothing line, so don’t forget your
wallet when you are around her, “LOL”. She has
a way to communicate with different people and
whether you love her or hate her, Tasha sexi-
ness/”classiness” will always make you compli-
ment and appreciate her beauty business sense.
The Tasha motto is, “You must think you are
beautiful, before anyone else can see it!”

63. “I’ve been around so many rude and unthankful people; some
of the things I have heard just blow me away. And then of
course you have the ones who just get the “big head” going.
If I ever get to that point ... Please someone smack me!!!”}
Meet Brittany Lee, born a brunette and raised as pure flair.
She still residing in Moline, Illinois aka the Quad Cities, where
her fame is still felt at home and stays humble with her devel-
oped image. “Beauty isn’t just on the outside; it’s also on the
inside. It is how you use your strengths to make every day
better and how you overcome every challenge life throws at
you. In which doing so, you’re still staying true to yourself.”
Brittany got her first start in the entertainment career as a mu-
sician not as a model, but after touring and meeting people
in the business she grew more into a modeling icon. “My big
influence isn’t anyone famous; it’s actually my great grand-
mother. She always told me to reach for what makes me hap-
py and never listen to what others think. That only you can
create your own happiness and no one can take that away
from you.”
Brittany can now be seen on the campaign billboard for LA
Tan currently being advertised city wide in the Chicago area.
She also dances for a professional dance team and an Arena
Football League; currently she also holds a crown title, “Miss
Tennessee Spirit 2011”. No wonder Brittany is the girl you
want to bring home to your parents, “I think the fact that I
have gotten to experience so much and have been around
enough people, it helps me get a strong grip on who I want to
be; while still achieving what I want. I also watch what type of
pictures I do and with whom. Never know when your past will
catch up to you and who is going to try to make a few bucks
selling them.”
Being a victim of bullying Brittany works hard to see it end by
helping those get through it and preventing those to encoun-
ter it. This little firecracker is admired by girls and guys for her
extremely protectiveness over those she loves and care for,
plus she has some amazing cleavage! The key to seducing
this beauty is with eye contact and the rest will come natu-
rally as her favorite compliment came from a young girl who
stated, “If I stay focused, strong and willed, I can become a
well-rounded individual like you by the time I am your age and
that would make me one very lucky girl.”

69. Meet the definition of European French chic,
Noemie Tremblay, who hails from Quebec
City, Canada. She started modeling at 4
years ago and won the national level in the
Fitness division. From then on she started
as a Fitness and swimwear model, now
crossing over to glamour. “Most of the time
models have to be pretty and girly but what
people don’t know about me is that I won
the bronze at the World Karate Champion-
ship in 2009 in the sparring division. So I’m
very feminine at my moments and I can fight
like a man; )”
The gym owner is family oriented and mo-
tivated to appreciate what she already
achieved and will achieve in her future.” I
realized that everything is possible so my
achievements and my dreams inspire me.”
Growing up she was like a little boy, between
her 5 brothers and being the only girl,
she really didn’t have choice. “I
never knew I was pret-
ty, I guess when
I realized I
wasn’t that
ugly, I
t o o k
a d -
vantage of it ; )”
The only thing that has changed since be-
coming a model for Noemie is being proud
of herself and thankful for every opportunity
she has. “I’m down to heart and I think it’s
a great quality.” The sexiness of Ms. Trem-
blay doesn’t mean being in shape, but she
does workout 5 days a week to keep a nice
shape. “I’m always sexy event when I don’t
work out; )” The pageant beauty would love
to see peace on earth and honestly guys
would love to be at peace with her.
Noemie Tremblay knows one thing, when a
Libra makes up their mind, good luck chang-
ing it! Now I know how she intimidates men
with her self-confidence and yes her sexy
demeanour, but she is very easy going! “I
love to have fun and I don’t take myself too
seriously. My definition of beauty is the inner
beauty; if a woman is beautiful inside she
will absolutely be amazing in the outside to.
Inner beauty is the most important part of
being beautiful.”

74. My name is Tawny Jordan Ring and I’m from Peoria,
Illinois, currently residing in Chicago, Illinois. I got
into modeling when a photographer from Peoria
decided he wanted to do a shoot. I thought what
the heck I should really do this! My dad is a big
inspiration for me to work hard at my career and
I also feel with today’s society I see hard work
and it makes me strive to become better and
better.
I get admired for my outgoing characteristic. I love to
talk to everyone. It doesn’t matter where you came from or
what you look like. I love to socialize with everyone. My nat-
ural sexuality is defined from working out, which I maintain
because I love to eat! I make sure I work out a lot so I can
eat whatever I want. But I still make wise decisions on what
to eat. I have a love/hate relationship with ENERGY DRINKS!
I love them because they give me lots of energy, but I know
they are bad for you when you drink two a day!
Sometimes men get nervous approaching me because of
my beauty and I think it’s kind of cute! When I say the word
“beauty” I think the heart comes to mind first. Beauty tru-
ly comes from the inside out. For me the key to seduction
would be a mind blowing kiss. A kiss will tell you everything
you need to know about your feelings for that person. If my
stomach gets butterflies I know I’m kissing the right per-
son.

79. Gentleman! Meet Lina Margarita, born in Cart-
agena, Colombia and coming to New Jersey
about 10 years ago for modeling. “I have always
had a passion for modeling. It always caught my
attention when I saw the beautiful models on
TV and in magazines. I saw myself being one of
them! I love Adriana Lima. She is beautiful in ev-
ery shoot and commercial.”
The always laughing and happy Lina, possess
the innocent of a child and the grace of an an-
gel. “My zodiac sign is cancer. It is known that
cancers are sensitive, loyal and very nurturing.
That’s exactly how I am.”
When not modeling you can find Lina enjoy-
ing another passion of hers, which is dancing,
“dancing is how I exercise and it puts me in a
great mood!” Lina is also studying to be a vet-
erinary technician and that is the first step in
her ultimate professional career goal which is to
eventually become a veterinarian and have her
own practice.
“My stepdad is a big influence in my life! He has
always believed in me in everything that I do.
And my fans motivate me to work harder and im-
prove my skills in every shoot I do! Without them
I honestly wouldn’t be doing this interview right
now :-)” Well HTM would like to personally thank
the guys and girls who admire you the most!!!
This public figure is something to look up at
with fans constantly telling her how she inspires
them, Lina remains grounded and low-key. “I
would love to see World peace”, Lina is sound-
ing like a beauty queen when she states it! It’s no
wonder with her unique look and strong person-
ality; she defines the definition of beauty. “You
don’t necessarily have to be a beauty queen for
someone to find you attractive. Beauty is more
than just a pretty face; it’s all about the soul of
the person and the good they do!”
