Poznate starlete u Srbiji. Pojam starleta potiče od italijanske reči starletta što znači zvezdica. U engleskom jeziku se piše starlet. Po definiciji, to je pozorišna ili filmska glumica koja igra sporedne uloge. To je uglavnom mlada, perspektivna glumica, zvezda u usponu. Ne označava ništa ružno i vulgarno kao što se misli. Na Balkanu, po mišljenju mnogih, sponzoruše su evoluirale u starlete.
