This document lists pairs of words in Spanish and English that appear similar but have different meanings. Some examples provided include "bomber" and "árbol", "gorra" and "carpeta", "tela" and "rojo", "mermelada" and "grande", "torta" and "jabón". These are known as "false cognates" or "false friends" since they look alike but do not share the same meaning across languages.
