Research Methodology
The above tabular presentation shows that higher percent business students have come from
Dhaka division. Khulna division is in second position and Barisal placed third position. So from
the division-wise analysis it can be inferred that home district has impact for motivating students
to get business education.
Residential accommodation cannot become a barrier for choosing business
education for those who do not residential facilities with family.

Hence, it is evident that there are challenges faced by many students from different
various backgrounds while their transition into the business education in Bangladesh.

career choices.

Overview of Relevant Literature - Numerous studies have explored motivation, influences, and challenges in educational choices, particularly in Bangladesh Establishing Context with Literature -Milon et al. (2017) have examined the motivation and its impact on academic performance in Bangladesh. -Arefin et al. (2019) studied the motivating factors between part- time and full- time employees in Chittagong organizations. - Turgumbayeva et al. (2023) highlighted the role of supervisory styles and the working environment in motivating employees. Advancing Knowledge -Our study aims to bridge these gaps and contribute to the evolving landscape of business education in Bangladesh. - By exploring and aligning education with industry needs, and understanding the academia- industry interface, we aspire to offer insights that can drive improvements in education policies and practices. Research Approach: •Deductive approach employed for investigating factors affecting business education choices. •Quantitative research chosen for systematic data collection and analysis. Data Sources: •Primary Data: Structured questionnaires on student motivations and factors influencing their choice of business education. •Secondary Data: Existing literature, reports, and academic publications relevant to business education in Bangladesh. Study Population: •Target: 10,000 students in business education programs at selected universities in Bangladesh. •Represents the demographic influenced by the factors studied. Sampling Method: •Judgmental sampling approach used for sample selection. •Universities chosen based on reputation and diversity. •Sample size: 80 students. Data Collection Process: •Administering structured questionnaires to selected students. •Questions designed to gather insights on factors influencing business education choices. •Data collected from June to October. So from the division-wise analysis it can be inferred that home district has impact for motivating students to get business education.
