Fab Lab Suriname is located in Suriname, a country with a population of 0.5 million people and 90% covered by jungle. The Fab Lab was started through a partnership between Waag Society in the Netherlands and a local organization. It is seeking help from other Fab Labs in developing countries to provide experiences, data, and evidence around the impact on small and medium enterprises, the costs of operations, and success stories to help transition the Fab Lab Suriname from a lab push to a society pull.
