明董其昌南宗山水筆墨意趣研究

董其昌(1555-1636)
 董其昌以禪論畫,借佛教禪宗的分宗
說,將中國山水畫概括為南、北宗,
然後選定一些文人畫家和職業畫家,
分別納入其中。由於主張超出物象之
上的寫意手法,反對為物象束縛的謹
細刻畫,因此推崇南宗為文人正脈,
認為北宗屬「畫師畫」,有意地抬高
文人畫,貶低職業畫家的作品。這一
理論,在此後的300年間,幾乎被視為
繪畫史上的定論,影響深遠。
董其昌(1555-1636)
 董其昌精研古人各家所長, 將宋、
元文人畫大家的筆法融匯貫通,集
其大成。他的筆墨,能乾墨並用。
喜用墨筆,有時設色,於淡雅中求
五色斑斕。畫風不重寫實,在具體
的樹、石等形象塑造上,只講求姿
態、組合形式美感。畫格清潤明秀,
卓然成為明代畫壇最具影響力的人
物。傳世作品甚多,有名的如《秋
興八景圖冊》、《林和靖詩意圖

董其昌信奉王維乃習南宗「水墨山
水」之模範
 施宣圓、李春元《中華文化之謎》:「是張璪還是王
維.水墨山水畫的創始者是王維嗎」
 明朝末年董其昌(一說莫是龍)說:「禪家有南北二宗,唐
時始分,畫之南北二宗,亦唐時始分也,但其人非南北耳。
北宗則李思訓父子著色山,…… 南宗則王摩詰始用渲淡,
一變鈎斫之法。」

 董其昌《畫旨》:「…… 其(王維下之南宗)傳為張璪、荊浩、關
仝、董源、巨然、郭忠恕、米家父子,以至元之四家。亦如六祖之
後,有馬駒、雲門、臨濟兒孫之盛,而北宗微矣。要之摩詰(即王
維)所謂雲峰石迹,迥出天機,筆意縱橫,參乎造化者(外師造化
功夫)。東坡讚吳道子王維畫壁,亦云:『吾於維也無間然』,知
言哉。」

 清沈宗敬《溪山臥遊錄》評:
「沈周、文徵明、唐寅和仇英,
為明四家」;晚明董其昌首次提
出「吳門畫派」之稱謂,並指出
由沈周創立

趙孟頫及明代董其昌均為「復古」
及學南宗畫風之典範,把「明四
家」、「清初四王」、元代倪瓚
統稱為「南派」,學倪瓚之側鋒
皴法及點苔法,按董其昌學說習

墨表現 — 兌現文人畫家之士氣
 「趙文敏問畫道於錢
舜舉,何以稱士氣?
錢曰:『隸體耳。畫
史能辨之,即可無翼
而飛。不爾,便落邪
道,愈工愈遠。然又
有關捩,要得無求於
世,不以讚毀撓懷。」
吾嘗舉似畫家,無不
攢眉,謂此關難度,
所以年年故步。」

• 明前期通篆隸者有沈度、陳文東、李東陽、喬
宇及金陵書家徐霖等人,中期則以吳門文徵明、
文彭父子更勝,然而皆未能超越前代大家。晚明
趙宧光博學好古,傾力篆書,著有多部著作。
• 沈度擅篆、隸、楷、行等書體,與弟沈粲皆擅
長書法,藏於秘府,被稱為「館閣體」,為明代
台閣體書法的代表人物

 「畫之道,所謂宇宙在乎手者,眼前無非生機」

徐麗莎《陳繼儒的梅花詩畫》一文所述……
 所以陳繼儒為儒士之流,跟董其昌等士大夫一樣把繪
畫看成能汰俗情和怡情的東西,因此:「黃大癡九十
而貌如童顏,米友仁八十餘神明不衰,無疾而逝,蓋
畫中煙雲供養也。」當把繪畫作為「清玩」、「墨
戲」,表示「我書意本無造法,點畫信手煩推求」時,
書畫可謂一種養生之道,更是文人士大夫寄暢的園地。
 譚家健《中國文化史概要》:
 明代晚期松江董其昌極力鼓吹文人畫,在其理論影響
下,明末清初出現四王(王時敏、王鑒、王翬、王原
祁),都追踪元人,除其中王翬融合宋元各派之外,
其他三人畫中都缺少境界,一味追求筆墨韻味,成為
正統的文人畫派。
