This document analyzes a music video by Disclosure using Goodwin's (1992) conventions for music videos. It finds that: 1) The video is a performance video focusing on the artists and instruments with unique lighting effects. 2) There is no visible link between the lyrics or music and the visuals, denoting disjuncture. 3) Close ups focus on the singer and instruments to show synchronization, and the Disclosure symbol flashes throughout.
