Downhill cycling is a sport raced on steep, narrow forest trails involving rapid descents on lightweight bikes equipped with front suspension. There are men's and women's categories for downhill racing as well as several other mountain biking disciplines including cross-country and trials. France dominates the sport, having won 56 world titles and 138 medals total. Some of the top downhill cyclists include Cederic Gracia, Sam Hill, and Fabian Barel.
