FOR THE SALE OF THE BUILDING KNOWN AS THE
“CERTOSA DI PONTIGNANO”
Re: Sale of the building complex located in the borough of Castelnuovo Berardenga
(Siena), at Pontignano, and known as the “Certosa di Pontignano” (Chartehouse
Monastery of Pontignano).
Minimum auction starting price: Euro 68,000,000 (sixty-eight million).
Method of auction: The auction will be held as a sealed-bid first-price auction, taking the
minimum auction starting price into consideration, in accordance with the articles 73 point c
and 76 of the Royal Decree Law no. 827 of 23 May 1925. The auction will be valid even in
the case of a single bid that is higher than the minimum starting price. No bids made
below or at the minimum starting price will be considered, and likewise neither
conditional offers, nor bids made in an inexact or general manner will be taken into
consideration.
Deadline for receiving bids: In order to take part in the auction, all interested parties must
send their bids by hand or by recorded-delivery letter with proof of delivery (return receipt)
