The Fair of April is a popular festival held in Seville, Spain each April. The fair originated in 1849 and has been held in the El Prado and Los Remedios neighborhoods. It features traditional Sevillian foods like fried fish, manzanilla sherry, and beer. Sevillanas folk songs are commonly performed by groups like Cantores de Hispalis and Maria del Monte. Women wear traditional Andalusian dresses and the fair can be accessed by a short walk from horse-drawn carriages.
