Constellations are groups of stars which
appears to have been forming a pattern
or picture.
Overall, there are 88 constellations
recognized by International
Astronomical Union and NASA.

slides only talk about the set of stars which
we will see in a particular month but only at
9:00 PM.
Most constellations are visible more than just
one month.

Circumpolar
The constellations that we can see all
year round are called circumpolar.
Many stars in the Northern and
Southern Hemisphere. Northern
Circumpolar stars are Ursa Major,
Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia, and Cygnus.
Southern Circumpolar Stars are Crux,
Carina, and Centaurus.
