2. Laws for the ownership of exotic animals vary.
While some states ban the ownership of exotic
animals others require licenses.
Some states do not require any permissions to own an
exotic pet and any private citizen may obtain one.
3. • Because of the lack of regulation in some states, people may house
dangerous exotic pets in their homes. Due to their primal nature they
can become a major threat not only to the homes they live in but also
to surrounding areas.
4. The Burmese Python is the perfect example of an exotic pet that has become a problem
in society. Many people are acquiring the snakes as babies and as they grow into
adulthood they become too much for the owners to handle so they release them
into the wild.

6. Celebrities and Exotic Pets
Not only do celebrities have an influence over what society wears
how they think and what they say, they also influence what type of
pet consumers buy.
People pictures of their favorite celebs with monkey’s, lizards
Chinchillas and they want them. In many cases they don’t
realize that the celebrity has someone to care for the animal.
7. Exotic Animals belong in the wild
The issue between having exotic animals as pets and
letting them roam free is still widely debated. Many of
the owners feel there is no issue that the exotic pet is the
same as having a cat or dog.
In my opinion, the animals need to be set free. Not only
for the well being of the animals themselves but for their
owners as well.
