INVITATION TO EXECUTIVE REGISTRATION PROGRAMME
We write to invite you to the next batch of Executive Registration Programme (ERP),
which is one of the pre-requisite for admission into membership of IT profession in
Nigeria.
The four-day programme has been designed to accommodate all intending members of
the profession that qualified for direct admission into the Associate and Chartered
Membership categories of the profession. (See below the qualification
criteria for participation)
Please note that any prospective member who misses this opportunity would only be
admitted into the profession through the writing of the Council’s professional
examination that holds twice every year; April and September.
Based on this, we would like to inform you that the next Executive Registration

2. We will appreciate if participant can communicate with the Secretariat via
memberscare@cpn.gov.ng or chiefkomo@yahoo.com, at least two weeks
before the commencement of the programme for logistic reasons.
Participants are expected to come with their Laptops, with minimum
configuration of a Pentium IV, 2GB RAM, Windows 2003 server, XP or
Vista.
At the end of the programme, participants are expected to write a short quiz in multiple
questions and answers.

3. QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP ADMISSION
1. The first degree must be in Computer Science or related courses such as
Electrical Electronics, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology
Science, Physics Electronics etc.
2. To qualify for admission into the Chartered Member category of the profession
such person must have completed NYSC on or before 2007.
3. To qualify for admission into the Associate Membership category of the
profession such person must have met condition (1) above and have completed
NYSC as at March 2008, 2009 and 2010.
4. Anyone with Post Graduate or second degree in IT with relevant academic
qualifications and completed the degree on or before 2007 will also be considered
for admission into Chartered Member category after the Executive Registration
Programme.
5. Anyone with Post Graduate or second degree in IT with relevant academic
qualifications and completed their degree on or before 2008, 2009 and 2010 will
also be considered for admission into Associate Membership category after the
Executive Registration Programme.
6. Payments for programme must be made at least a week to the event.
7. Make sure that all completed application forms must be accompanied with all
necessary documents such as First Degree Certificate, NYSC discharge
certificate, Curriculum vitae, 2 Passport Photographs, Change of Names/Marriage
Certificate for Married Women, Second Degree/Post Graduate Certificate.
