EVERNOTE is an application (web-based or
application) that lets you take notes, sync ﬁles across
your devices, save links of webpages, and share your
ideas with friends and peers.

Let us start organizing!

In your URL, type evernote.com

Create your account, for FREE!

Enter your email

and Password

Make sure to use a
strong password to
ensure the security of
your account!

click SIGN UP FOR FREE

Check your email for
account conﬁrmation.

Sign In using your account details

Enter your email address

and password

then Sign in

If you are prompted with this screen,
you can just opt for the FREE one.

Then click OK

This is how your Evernote will look like:

Let us look at the different
features of Evernote!

This area has all your notes:

Clicking one will show you what is written in that note:

Clicking options will show different ways to organize your notes:

Create a new note by clicking this icon

Here’s a sample blank note:

Rename your note in this ﬁeld:

Then type all your notes in this area,

And format it depending on your requirements:

You can change the font,

Adjust the font size,

Change the font color,

Adjust font orientation, whether bold, italics or
underlined,

or mark items complete by striking it through.

You can also create check boxes!

Or create bullets or numbered lists:

You can also add links to you notes!

Name your Link

And paste the URL in this area

then click Apply

The link will now appear in your note:

You can also attach a ﬁle in your note by
clicking this icon

Take note of the ﬁle size limitations:

Just click Choose ﬁle

and choose the ﬁle that you wish to attach from
your local folder:

Your chosen ﬁle will appear in this area:

You can remove it if you want to change it

or attach more ﬁles

Click Attach ﬁles when done.

Voila! Your attachment is now shown in your note:

You can also insert a table in your note:

Just choose the number of rows and
columns you want to create:

Here is how the table will look like

You can also click the divider line to create a
demarcation in your notes:

These options will allow you to edit the
alignment of your notes:

And this area to format your text to subscript
or superscript

Another feature of Evernote is the Reminder
functionality!

Just click the clock button to add a reminder
for this note:

Click Notify me

Then set the date

and time. Then done!

Clicking the star button will add this note as a shortcut
for future easy access

The note info will show you the details of your note

like these information:

Just click Cancel if there are no changes to be made:

The trash can icon will delete this note:

This area shows the name of the notebook in
which this note is linked to

Click it to do the following options:

Create a new notebook

Name your notebook

Then click Create notebook

Your note will now appear as linked to the
notebook Business:

You can move it back to another notebook by
clicking the arrow,

and choose from the available notebooks:

The one with the green check mark is your
current active notebook

You can also add tags to your notes:

Just type the category in this area:

You can add multiple tags
by clicking the “+” sign

Just like this:

With tags, you can easily
classify notes of the
same category and easily
pull them in one click!

You can also share your notes via the
following options:

Send note to send this to your contacts:

Just input the email addresses of your
contacts

Assign permission to the recipient, whether
they can edit and invite, edit only, or view only:

then click Send

You can also share this to your
social media accounts:

Sharing your notes to your social
media accounts will make your notes
public. Be aware of sensitive
information that are in your notes that
will be shared publicly.

The email option will also allow you to send
this note as an email to your contacts:

Just enter the email addresses of the
desired recipients:

Or import from your existing contact list:

You can also add a message which will be
read by the recipients of the note:

Just click Continue to proceed

Clicking Link will give you the link of the note
which you can share:

Just copy the URL and share it as needed:

Click DONE once the note is completed.

DONE! Your new note will now show as
part of your notes:

A few more functionalities! This button will
allow you to search notes:

Clicking Work chat enables conversations
with your peers:

Notes will show all of
the notes that you have
created.

Notebooks will show
all of your notebooks,
and the number of
notes in each notebook

Tags will show all created
tags and the number of
notes classiﬁed under
those tags
