The document discusses the feedback the creator received from audience members throughout the development of their sci-fi film project. They showed drafts of the film, poster, and magazine page to get opinions on aspects like color schemes and designs. Feedback was given both in person and via social media. This helped the creator cut unnecessary scenes, improve shots and edits based on audience understanding, and make design changes to better appeal to the target audience. The feedback was crucial to developing the final products.

2.Cellular Networks_The final stage of connectivity is achieved by segmenting...JeyaPerumal1
A cellular network, frequently referred to as a mobile network, is a type of communication system that enables wireless communication between mobile devices. The final stage of connectivity is achieved by segmenting the comprehensive service area into several compact zones, each called a cell.
2. Throughout the development of my 3 products
(film, poster and magazine page), I exported drafts,
and showed members of my audience the progress
at each stage.
For some decisions, I would not proceed without
first asking the opinion of my audience, such as
with the poster and its colour scheme/design, to
avoid creating something that did not appeal to
them or their ideas of sci-fi. This worked alongside
my study of the Sci-fi and short film conventions.
3. Feedback
Most of the feedback was given face to face, allowing
them to get their idea across more clearly, and for me to
question them and make sure I understood what they
were saying. In the cases of film drafts, I would send the
link on social medias and gather their responses via typed
messages.
Asking for feedback through social media messaging
allowed my audience to feel more open to criticise my
work, as well as it being easier for me to see and return
to their feedback. In some cases, my audience may not
have been entirely comfortable pointing out the errors or
smaller issues with my products to my face.
4. Whilst I only posted my films as ‘unlisted’ on
YouTube (meaning the video could only be
accessed through a link), my audience had quite
a bit of access to the development stages of my
project, through my constant asking for their
opinions with the ancillaries, to having the links
to the film sent to them through social media.
They also had access to my blog, which has all
the posts tracking my development. They were
invited to browse through the blog whenever
they wanted.
5. The Pitch
• The audience feedback from my presented pitch
encouraged a spoken narration and script. It was
suggested that whilst my idea to use only sound effects
to convey emotions had potential to create a good film,
they said that narration would make the plot make
clearer sense. This was useful to receive before filming,
to ensure I could properly plan the shots and avoid
reshooting my film to accommodate a script.
• I was also able to cut down my original storyline which
my audience stated was too complex and confusing for
5 minutes. This allowed me to plan shots that
conveyed my ideas without adding to the length of the
film.
6. Draft reviews
• The Film:
– The audience feedback for the mid-project
drafts allowed me to make edits to cuts and
shots before I both
-finished and started working on after
effects (where it would be difficult to
edit)and
-ran out of time to do reshoots.
– My audience suggested that I cut down
some shots such as when the girl gets off the
swing, to avoid the attention being on her
bag that was seemingly left behind yet
appears on her back in the next shot. The
audience also stated that shorter cuts in
areas made the film flow better; some
suggested cuts were in areas I was not aware
needed cutting.
– I had not started properly working on sound
at this stage, but my audience noted that I
should work heavily on this as it would make
the plot make more sense. At this point they
struggled to understand what was
happening in scenes such as under the
bridge from visuals alone.

7. • The Poster:
– My audience had a big part in deciding the colours
of my poster, and the font used. I presented them
with these two images,
from which they
suggested that
too many colours
would be too chaotic
however it works best
on the girl.
8. • The Magazine page
– Out of the two ancillary products, the magazine
page had the most changes due to audience
feedback. The original background design,
according to my audience, seemed very overly
basic. This was quite telling considering the page
illustration was a graphic design, like the poster.

9. The impact on my audience
After viewing my film, they commented they would
watch similar films. In some cases they pointed out
similarities to other existing products.
They also said they enjoyed the opening music,
which is an indie track, and would listen to the
soundtrack and others like it after watching my film.
Whilst this was not the main purpose of my film,
they noted that the music fits really well with my
plot and has given them a different perspective of a
sci-fi film other than the typical space scene.
10. Overall
Feedback was highly essential in the
development of my film. All three products
would have turned out different to what they
are now had I not received and learned from
audience feedback.
