1. Adobe Premiere was used to edit the film trailer "Withheld" and allowed the use of editing tools to create a professional trailer by cutting and joining shots and adding intertitles. YouTube was used to upload and share the trailer to gain feedback from audiences on likes, comments, and shares.
2. Blogger was used to present work in an organized chronological manner and allow people to view, comment, and provide feedback, engaging a wide audience.
3. Windows Movie Maker was used early in the production to create an animatic and upload documents, and skills from it proved useful later in Adobe Premiere for editing the trailer.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Evaluation question 3
1. Question 3
How did you use technologies in the construction,
research, planning and evaluation stages?
2. 1) Adobe Premiere
Adobe Premiere was the programme which allowed our group to edit
our film trailer ‘Withheld’. As this programme contained many editing
tools which could be used to create a professional and appealing
trailer. When using this programme we found to use various editing
tools such as ‘editing the pace of the trailer’ by allowing us to cut
shots and join them together. Premiere also included special
intertitle software which allowed us to choose from a variety of
Intertitles which our group widely used throughout the trailer. On the
other hand Premiere was also beneficial when making useful edits to
our trailer such as extracting music from different sources and also
allowing us to include Intertitles of our own along with the
productional logo which was necessary for our trailer. Overall I found
my experience in using Premiere to be successful as it included many
benefits in which allowed our group to create a effective trailer for
our campaign.
3. 2) YouTube
YouTube was the main element in which I would connect to my
target audience after it gained formation of web 2.0, this would
benefit me when uploading the trailer as it allowed me to gain
feedback from audiences. When uploaded to YouTube the
audiences either had options to ‘share’ the trailer amongst others
which would exploit popularity of the trailer vastly and also to
‘like’ and also giving their comments towards this. As the
audience’s feedback is what I would want to know as if would
allow me to know whether they would be anything which me and
my group could pick up and learn from.
4. 3) Blogger
I found blogger to be a really effective tool through which work
can be presented in an organised chronologic manner also
allowing people to easily view it and comment, giving their own
responses and feedback, this also forms in web 2.0 as it allows
you to target a wide range of audience. When using blogger it
creates the sense of an ‘online diary’ and because it is on the web
people are likely to view it in their own time thus they are likely to
absorb with a higher interest to details, therefore the work
presented on this website is likely to be more appreciated than if
showcased in hardcopy, as I immensely enjoyed the experience of
using blogger and being able to interact with different blogs.
5. 4) Windows Movie Maker
Windows Movie Maker is a special programme which aided the
production from the very beginning as our group first constructed
our animatic which was uploaded to our blogs. From then
Windows Movie Maker was used several times to upload
documents which showed great creativity and neatness. Also the
skills which had been learnt on Windows Movie Maker then
proved to be really useful in later stages when editing our trailer
on a more complex programme such as Adobe Premiere.
6. 5) Prezi
I found Prezi to be a fresh and interesting way to create
interactive presentations which were viewed online or
shown on my blog as they provided a viewer to ‘interact’
with the presentation and this creates the correct amount
of appeal that will allow them to appreciate what is being
presented. This becomes a more sophisticated and fresh
approach as opposed to Microsoft PowerPoint. Prezi also
gives creator the ability to share a presentation as this
increases its likeliness of targeting a wider span of
audiences. Also other features such as the use of templates
and the ease of using Prezi is make the whole experience of
working more joyful.
7. 7) iPhone
The iPhone was simple technology that has had many roles in the
formation of my media texts. At first it acted as a simple tool on
which test shots could be captured and angles could be easily
practiced. In later stages during the filming it also became a prop-
the phone being an essential prop in ‘Withheld’ as the narrative is
based upon phone call, therefore it was always useful and
professional. Also towards the end of the project, the internet of
the iPhone was used to show audience members the final trailer
product that had been uploaded to YouTube in which their
feedback had been given.
8. 9) Video Camera
The main tool in which was used by all members of the group was
the ‘Sony Handycam’ which was used throughout the recording of
our trailers. Before starting our recording we had to develop our
knowledge on camera shots as we had to understand the different
shot meanings and when they are used. When learnt how to fully
use the camera the whole of experience became enjoyable as it
became less time consuming for the group to record the trailer
whilst in production. When using the video camera we also used
equipment such as tripod’s which helped us through still shots as
the balance of the recording wasn’t disturbed.
