Jack Alexander used various new media technologies in the planning, filming, and evaluation of his film trailer "Abduction". He used digital video cameras to film the trailer sequences as well as practice shoots, which allowed him to easily transport the small cameras. An animated storyboard created from photos taken on the digital cameras helped with planning and creativity. iMovie software allowed him to edit clips, audio, add transitions and effects. The internet was used for initial research of sample trailers on sites like YouTube. Computers also helped access websites not available through the school network.
