This study investigates factors affecting happiness among speciality medical doctors in private hospitals in India, analyzing responses from 654 doctors across various specializations. Results indicate that salary dissatisfaction and mental health issues significantly impact job satisfaction and overall happiness, with specific concerns varying among ENT surgeons, gynaecologists, ophthalmologists, general physicians, and general surgeons. The findings emphasize the need for better salary packages and mental health strategies to improve job satisfaction among these medical professionals.
