3. Social Group Of Choice
My selected social group are represented as heterosexual working class
young adults from ages 18-30. I believe that this age range is important
beacuase these are years in which people try to find themselves and
find love. So people that are this age when watching the film can feel
connected. And throughout the film they can empathise with the
characters and issues which enriches the watching experience.
4. Stereotype
Nikolai represents the average/normal man that every guy tries to be
or at least mimic. We created Nikolai to be the stereotypical working
class man who's jus trying to get the job done. To create this image for
our character we decided to make him look quite ordinary with Jeans,
trainers and a jacket. But he does have aspects of his character which
differ from this stereotype such as high intelligence and spy like fighting
ability.
5. Relationships
Relationships is the central point of the film and is extremely important
as the film is an Action Romance. I created a the stereotypical male
character with a female sidekick as seen in films such as Trinity and Neo
in the Matrix franchise. In the film they depended on each other very
well to reach there end goal. I wanted to a similar themes in my film. I
wanted this beacuase it adds depth to both characters and makes you
care more about them beacuase you seen go through so much
together.
6. Values and beliefs
The values and beliefs that are represented are different from what you
would usually expect a working class man to be. He will do whatever it
takes to reach his goals even if it means leaving a trail of blood along
the way beacuase he believes that he can justify himself. And this belief
will be more appealing to the audience beacuase its something
different from there everyday choices.
7. Costume
For costume I decided that to appeal to my social group I should use
clothing that they like such as a simple Jacket and Jeans. Often in spy
movies such as James bond they are more nicely dressed and have
more of a sophisticated look. But for my film I have decided to give
Nikolai a more relaxed costume since he is going undercover. But I also
gave him a more relaxed costume beacuase it showed the audience
that there more to people then what they look like or what they wear,
there's always something underneath all that. This is expressed
physically and also expressed to explain love.
8. My media product represents Young adults.
The film also tailors to people who are fans of Adventure/Romance
productions. People who find interest in films like the James Bond
series, who can really relate and enjoy the production. The production is
about two unlikely lovers who find themselves realising that they have
fallen in love with each other as the story progresses. Which hopefully
people in the audience in the public can relate too.
9. How does it do this?
By showing the ups and downs of a new found relationship of
two very unlikely characters to meet. And by doing this I'm
showing that love isn’t always conventional and that you can
always find it and it will always find you. Which people who
are in love or are looking for it will understand and hopefully
relate too.
11. Differences in terms of ....
Stereotype – Bulldog is purely mean while Nikolai is a nicer character.
Archetype – Bulldog is the stereotypical bad guy while nikolai is the stereotypical nice guy.
Values – Bulldog is more of a psychopath while Nicolai is very empathetic.
Beliefs – Bulldog is a communist and doesn’t believe that current governments are doing
the right thing.
Appearance – Nikolai looks a bit more rough while Bulldog takes time and cares a lot about
his appearance.
Costume – Nikolai prefers the casual type of dress while Bulldog prefers a more classical
approach to his wardrobe.
Relationship with others – Bulldog doesn’t have many friends because he had a hard
childhood. Nikolai is considered nice around his friends and family.
Role in Film – bulldog is a villain while Nikola is a Hero type character.

To conclude my media product represents the Characteristics that I
have mentioned previously. But more Specifically People who have
