The student created a promotional package for a horror film including a teaser trailer, magazine cover, and poster. They researched conventions of real horror media to develop their products. Feedback from focus groups and surveys showed the trailer, cover, and poster were effective at representing the film and attracting the target audience. The student learned about audience expectations and how to improve their work through receiving feedback at different stages of production. A variety of media technologies were used throughout the process for construction, research, planning, and evaluation.
