2) An experiment showed that a normal chicken leg was harder to break than one that had been soaked in acid, demonstrating that healthier bone is stronger. Similarly, perforated cardboard ripped easier than solid cardboard.
3) The conclusions were that astronauts' bone mass decreases in space without gravity, making their bones weaker, and that they have a higher risk of osteoporosis and bone fractures when returning to Earth gravity.
