2. Nokia launches C3 in India
• Nokia launch Nokia C3 in India, the first device to bring a full
QWERTY keyboard to the world's most popular mobile phone
platform- Series 40.
• Nokia C3 allow users to view, post, comment, share locations
and even update their status on social networks such as
Facebook and Twitter straight from the home screen features
include a megapixel camera, rich colour screen and support for
up to 8GB memory card. It is available now in two colours --
golden white and slate grey.
• The new device is preloaded with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat for
the first time users which will help them set up email and chat
accounts straight from the device without the need for a PC.
Nokia C3 will be available nationally starting with Nokia
Pirority Stores at an MRP of Rs 7249.
3. Indian IT sector – Latest buzz
• IT spending by enterprises is expected to grow at a substantial
pace to touch USD 40 billion in three years.
• Insurance watchdog IRDA has shortlisted IT biggies Tata
Consultancy Services (TCS), Mahindra Satyam, Deloitte,
Infosys and Wipro for implementing an enterprise resource
planning (ERP) package to deal with its proposed staff
expansion
• India’s big three software outsourcing firms are set to
regain double-digit growth rates during the second
quarter.

• According to the Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report published
for the first time, the total wealth of India has trebled in a
decade to $3.5 trillion. By 2015, the country's wealth could
nearly double to $6.4 trillion.
• Interestingly, Asia Pacific boasts of more billionaires than
Europe. There are over 1,000 billionaires globally, of which
500 are in North America, followed by 245 in Asia Pacific and
230 in Europe

"Superhornet" emerged as the front-runners following the
gruelling trials, industry sources have said.

advanced stealth fighter jets for military technology-hungry
India.
