During the early half of the twentieth century, the United States went through a period of
financial crisis which became known as the Great Depression. To get the country out of this
depression, the federal government under the leadership of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

many others. The bills right off the bat do not have a very good chance of passage. Only 1 out of
every 10 bills even gets any attention at all. This is because they must go through many tests and
