This document discusses several projects being developed by ESN including Satellite, Galaxy, and ERS. Satellite 4 is having issues with its design that need attention. Galaxy is an account system that will be used for ESN websites, national wikis, and local satellites. It is being developed to unlink from LDAP and make it more modular. The ERS, wiki, e-learning, and online voting projects are also highlighted.
This document outlines the ESN Star Awards competition between ESN UKSW and ESN UJ. It discusses the idea behind each section competing for awards, their strategies for success as "factories" producing high quality work, and their final battle where ESN UKSW won WebSTAR and ESN UJ won STARlight at the 2012 AGM in Granada. Key aspects that led to their success included frequently updated websites showcasing their work, social media promotion, and making the most of their strengths and advantages rather than relying on money. The document discusses ESN Galaxy, a centralized login system used by Erasmus Student Network (ESN) to manage its large network of over 12,000 members across 425 sections and 35 countries. ESN Galaxy allows users to log in once to access ESN documents, services, and register for events, while also managing their section, committee roles, and personal account information. It is an important tool for coordinating ESN's large network, but faces challenges around outdated technology and needs a new version to improve reliability, security, and add new features to better serve ESN members.
This document discusses a project called Section Cooperation Support (SeCS) that aims to promote cooperation between sections in Erasmus Student Network (ESN). It presents different types of cooperation between sections and outlines SeCS's plans to create a cooperation map, publish good practices, develop a cooperation guide, and build a search engine. The timeline indicates work began in March 2012 and cooperation map and guide updates are ongoing, with the search engine to follow map updates. Sections are encouraged to support SeCS by sharing their experiences with cooperation and writing articles for publication.

The document proposes a new solution called CNR Fields of Expertise (FoX) to improve the work of the CNR. The FoX would see CNR members monitor key areas through informal groups focused on: 1) the Monitoring Board, 2) Committees, and 3) the ESN Network. These groups would better inform the CNR and help identify areas needing improvement through regular communication and reporting at CNR meetings. The FoX aims to help the CNR work more strategically as a body by professionalizing ESN's operations. It will be implemented on a trial basis over the summer for further discussion at the next CNR meeting.
The iT Committee has established a new leadership structure with Hendrik Schraa as Chair, Giovanni Giacobbi as unofficial Vice Chair to be voted on in May, Miriam Gonzalez as Galaxy Coordinator, and Erik Roijen as Satellite Coordinator. Moderate drinking is difficult to define for youth given underestimations of standard drink volumes and cultural differences. Prevention efforts should focus on responsible partying and accurate social norms.
