The presentation outlines what students will be learning about the moon over the next few weeks. They will learn about the moon's characteristics, phases, and what has been discovered through space exploration. Students will design a menu for traveling to the moon, create a vehicle and spacesuit, and ask their parents to help by asking about their projects and continuing the learning at home. The teacher will use project-based learning where students learn hands-on about the moon through building projects over multiple days.

3. Objectives:
Know:
The learner will describe the characteristics of the moon.
 The learner will explain and describe the different phases
of the moon
 The learner will explain that knowledge of the moon is
gained through space exploration.
 The learner will know what accommodations for food,
water and clothing they would need to take on their trip to
the moon.



Do:
Design a menu for food and water for traveling to the
moon.
 Design a vehicle for traveling to the moon.
 Create a spacesuit to wear to the moon.



project and the concept.
Be very helpful with reading at home
and continuing the learning outside of
the classroom.
Be involved!!! Ask you students how
their day was, if they have any
questions, or what they need help with!

5. Project Based Learning:
What is it?
 This is when teachers basically can
teach by using projects.
 The students can learn the concept
much better because they will be
learning hands on.
 Each day with grow from the previous
day.

