PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Google Inc., 2007-Current
Senior Quantitative Analyst
• Tech lead for analysis of cross-property, cross-device user behavior data. Conducted analyses of
logs data describing Google account interactions across Google properties. Results were used to
drive growth and inform product strategy and project planning. Analyses included visualization,
A/B experimentation, and ML approaches to quantify and predict user behavior.
• Trained and mentored new team members. Developed a course on logs analysis via Dremel (Big
Query) that I have given to 200+ engineers. Trained new teachers who give the course quarterly.
• Used extensive knowledge of the software stack required to produce and serve a search results
page to support software engineers carrying out experiments on new web search features.
Evaluated the results of experiments via ad hoc analysis and an internal A/B testing framework.
• Worked with big data, including non-relational databases, MapReduce, Dremel.
Dpt of Public Health, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, 2005 - 2007

Research Data Specialist
• Led development on Federally-funded models for optimizing triage in mass casualty settings,
improving hospital surge capacity planning, and quantifying resource utilization for health
system response to Department of Homeland Security-specified catastrophe scenarios.
• Collaborated with Clinton Foundation HIV/ADIS Initiative to develop, debug, and document
simulation and optimization models for scale up of HIV treatment and prevention programs in
resource limited countries. Presented models to public health officials at WHO meetings.
• Coauthored various publications on these topics in academic journals (available upon request).
Community Impact at Columbia University, 2004 - 2005

GED Specialist
• Oversaw daily activities of GED prep center, including teaching, training, and student evaluation.
EDUCATION
