The ERCV27 is an electric refuse collection vehicle with a 6x2-4 axle configuration and a gross vehicle weight of 27,000 kg. It has a low-floor cabin for easy crew access and large glass panels for excellent visibility. The electric drive axle provides excellent acceleration and climbing ability up to a 14% grade. With two steered axles, it has a small turning radius for maneuvering in tight spaces.

The ERCV27 is full electrical multi-purpose heavy-duty truck which is especially
built to carry a refuse collection body and bin lifter as well as any other special
equipment of municipal vehicles. This allows communities to collect waste in
densely build-up areas without the emission of pollution, C02 and noise.
The low floor cabin with its 400 mm height entry allows a 4 persons crew easy
access when driving to the next collection point. Also, it provides the crew with
spacious storage compartments. The large glass panels offer an excellent
overview to keep watch on the surrounding traffic, and the doors slide
backwards when opening not to disturb passing traffic like bicycles and provide
the possibility of vehicle moving with opened doors during its operation.
Driving is easy as the electric drive axle provide excellent acceleration,
controlled deceleration and a climbing gradient of 14% at gross vehicle weight.
Having two steered axles which allow a high value of wheels turning angles,
the ERCV27 provides the vehicle smallest turning circle and the best access in
spaces where maneuvering is a challenge.
