ePortfolio Sustainability within Swiss Universities

Eight higher education institutions in Switzerland use ePortfolios, with five using Mahara, one using ILIAS, and one using OLAT. To promote sustainability, the document proposes connecting all ePortfolio systems to SWITCHportfolio and implementing import/export modules between all Swiss ePortfolio systems to allow sharing of student work and profiles between institutions. This will be implemented during the CUS-P2 project from 2014 to 2016 using standards like LEAP2A to enable interoperability between different systems like OLAT and ILIAS.
