2. WHAT?
HD4DP or “healthdata for data providers” is a local
client software developed by the healthdata.be-team.
HD4DP facilitates the data captation in hospitals that
participate in patient registries.
WHY?
In Belgium, many patient registries exist. Each with
their own technical implementation and information
model. Also, a number of hospitals don’t have a
structured and coded electronic patient record. The
HD4DP software is a key element of a generic
architecture that serves all patient registries in Belgium.
WHO?
Almost all Belgian hospitals participate in patient
registries. Together with the ICT services of these
hospitals, the healthdata.be-team installs the HD4DP on
the hospital infrastructure . HD4DP is available in ‘single
site’, ‘multi center’ and ‘desktop’ version. HD4DP is also
available as an integration in other software, e.g.
XConnect.
