Joe Greene
Joe worked in the food industry for more than 50 years. He was a pioneer, a visionary and natural leader. Hundreds of
distributors around the globe from small local companies to massive national houses have benefited from Joe’s knowledge
and friendship. He served as CEO of Distribution Management Systems (DMS) until 2005, when the company was acquired
by AFS Technologies. He worked and served as a consultant for several years until he passed away unexpectedly in
November 2016.
Since the day AFS acquired Ross, Joe pushed to introduce a proof-of-delivery mobile application to the distributor
community. His vision is a key reason for our development effort and focus.
The development team would like to dedicate ePoD
to the memory and legacy of Joe Greene.

Proof of Delivery is a method to establish the fact that the
recipient received the exact contents sent by the sender.
Instead of requiring drivers to maintain and submit physical
paperwork every day, mobile electronic proof of delivery (ePoD)
solutions enable real-time, highly visible, paperless delivery on
time, along with a clean invoice.
ePoD can capture signatures, GPS locations, voice messages, and
photos at the point of delivery using standard mobile devices.
