This document summarizes a study that analyzed the environmental and social risks in Bangladesh for businesses. It conducted qualitative analyses of environmental and social factors and a quantitative survey of 200 Bangladeshis to assess attitudes toward foreign products. The study found both positive and negative aspects in Bangladesh's environment and society, and that overall Bangladeshis have a favorable attitude toward foreign products, though attitudes varied by gender and age. It reviewed numerous other studies analyzing factors like population trends, climate change risks, social vulnerabilities, and consumer ethnocentrism in various countries.
