The three bodies of victims killed in police firing during protests in Biratnagar, Nepal on January 21 will be received on Monday. An agreement was reached between the United Democratic Madhesi Front and the Morang District Administration Office to return the bodies to the victims' ancestral villages for last rites. The autopsy process has concluded and the bodies are currently kept in the mortuary of the Koshi Zonal Office. The administration also agreed to provide 25,000 rupees to each deceased victim's family for funeral expenses and report the deaths to the Home Ministry for possible declaration as martyrs.
