This document discusses the history of Heavilon Hall and its bell tower at Purdue University. It describes how the original Heavilon Hall had an attached bell tower, but they were later separated when the building underwent renovations in the 20th century. In 1995, a new bell tower was constructed independently from Heavilon Hall to honor the school's traditions, maintaining a separate but common identity between the building and its iconic tower.
