Many people when they think of Agile correlate or envision one or more Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and so on. Furthermore, most of us are obsessed with following these frameworks by the book. There is nothing wrong with this, however, many times we realize that the soul or the effectiveness seems to be missing.
In this session, I intend to introduce the idea of experimentation, and its use for better agile implementation. To facilitate experimentation, I will share the concept of practices like Lean Coffee, Communities of Practice, Personal Mapping, Exploration Days, Celebration Grid, Affinity Mapping, and Meddlers.

Jasmine Littlejohn presented on her internship projects in HR Diversity and Inclusion at Belk. She worked on 4 main projects: 1) Creating a modernized onboarding experience for new hires, 2) Developing a resource guide for Business Resource Groups, 3) Designing a recognition program, and 4) Establishing a lending library for BRGs. She gained experience in areas like onboarding best practices, the importance of diversity and inclusion, effective communication, and time management. Jasmine thanked her mentors for their support and shared pictures from her internship events.
Maurene Daniels is a senior at Northern Kentucky University studying journalism with a focus in public relations. She has experience in communications, event planning, social media management, and journalism. Daniels has worked as a communications assistant for NKU's College of Informatics where she planned events, developed marketing materials, and updated social media and websites. She has also interned in marketing and communications at NKU and worked as a staff writer for The Northerner student newspaper.
