2. About the Energy Smart Unit™
Energy Smart Unit™ is patented as an apparatus suited to determine, to
an exact science, the amount of capacitance that is needed to optimize
inductive motors to unity for maximum energy savings.
Energy Smart Unit™ fine tunes the electrical system from the inductive
equipment back through the utility company's electric meter, both for
kilowatt hour meter (kWh) demand (kW or kVA). This fine tuning will slow

3. This is how Energy Smart Unit™Unit Works
The Energy Smart Unit™ reduces the amount of power
drawn from the utility by storing otherwise lost electricity (kWh,
kW, or kVA) caused by the inductive motors in your home. Some
examples of inductive motors are air conditioning units,
refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool pumps,
vacuum cleaners, furnace blower motors, fans etc.
The technology applied by Energy Smart Unit™ supplies the
stored electricity back to your inductive loads, causing you to
decrease your demand (kW or kVA) from the utility. As demand is
decreased, you pull less electricity from the utility company. This is
reflected by the slower movement and lower volume of
consumption (kWh) on your meter. You pay for the electricity
flowing through your meter, why pay for it and waste it, when you
can pay for it, store it, and reuse it again. This whole process is
called power factor optimization. The amount of saving on your
energy bill depends on many factors. The size of your home, the
amount of inductive motor load, and the amount you are paying
per kilowatt-hour for electricity etc. Users of this product have

The Power Factor
Power factor is the percentage of electricity that’s delivered to your
house and used effectively, compared to what is wasted. For

factor or less. This means that 77% of the electricity that is coming
thru your meter at your home or business is being used effectively,

power factor in most cases to .97 or .98, thus increasing the

expected to increase over the next ten years by 19% in the U.S.,
but confirmed power capacity will increase by only 6%. The
