EICG Mission
EICG is an organisation of oil and gas industry executives committed to
the development of a world leading oil and gas industry in Australia. The
EICG pursues its mission by identifying opportunities where member
organisations can work together to improve the competitiveness of local
industry by developing local industry capability and capacity.
To build a world leading, globally competitive oil and gas services industry.
The objectives of the EICG are as follows:
• To develop, steward, share and adopt common industry standards and
practices wherever possible.
• To promote and support the application and or development of new
technologies to improve the capability and or the capacity of the oil and
gas sector.
• To work together with member organisations, governments, regulators
and with industry bodies to promote the long term sustainability and
growth of the Australian oil and gas industry.
• To be the service sector interfacing body with Operators and Operator
collaboration bodies, i.e. APPEA, Project Symphony, NERA etc.
