3. Play a memory game! Go to the memory game website to learn about the kinds of animals that are endangered: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/kids/games/dwes.html Play one time and record your time by #4 on the handout.

4. Why are some animals endangered? Go to the following website about the endangered species of the Amazon Rainforest: http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/content/animals/kidscorner/endangered_animals/endangeredanimals_1.htm Hold your mouse over the picture of the jaguar without clicking. Answer #5 and #6 on the handout.

5. Why are some animals endangered? Go to the ESPECIES website at http://www.kidsplanet.org/factsheets/map.html Choose one animal from the following lists: North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Fill out the chart by #7 for the animals that you chose.
