Antonietta discusses her experience studying and entering the workforce as an anthropologist in Peru. She took jobs unrelated to her field out of financial need and found they provided useful skills. However, her education did not fully prepare her for the labor market. She feels frustrated that students must rely heavily on established researchers and have little opportunity to access funding themselves. Additionally, universities do not adequately promote connections between students and potential employers or expose students' full potential.
