3. First Skill: Technology Trends
Technology Trends: awareness as a skill refers to being
mindful of the technology that is recently becoming
popular and is readily accepted in the market or
industry.
Ideal technology trend awareness skills would mean a
person's ability to either correspond to the industry-
wide technology adoption or surpass it.
Examples: Virtual Reality such as video games; Artificial
Intelligence (AI) meaning a Data Scientist|Data
Analyst|etc,.; Internet of Things such as Apps, Wifi,
Cellphones, Computers, Data, Camera.; Blockchain
meaning cryptocurriences,.; Edge Computering, etc.

4. Second Skill: Technology Challenges
Data Security. Data-related
issues permeate virtually all
evolving technologies. The
opportunities for data breaches
are dramatically increased and
businesses must anticipate quick
responses to satisfy a patchwork
of state and federal data breach
regulations.
Cloud Computing. A network
of remote servers hosted on the
internet to store, manage, and
process data, rather than a local
server or a personal computer.
There are three examples – (1)
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),
(2) Platform as a Service (PaaS)
and (3) Software as a Service
(SaaS).
Technology Integration.
The use of technology resources
computers, mobile devices like
smartphones and tablets, digital
cameras, social media platforms
and networks, software
applications, the Internet,
Examples would be cellphones,
and computers used in a
classroom.

5. Third Skill: Technology
Development
The overall process of invention,
innovation and diffusion of technology or
processes.
Body of knowledge and tools that ease
the use of economic resources as a way
to produce goods and services efficiently
and innovatively. Technological progress
is essential to economic growth and
development, and the more advanced
the technology available, the more
quickly the local and global economy can
improve.
Examples would be: Smart Phones, Smart
Watches, Smart Cars, Digital Media, etc.

Summary
Here is what we learned
Technology Trends: Progress in many of the basic computing and
information technologies has been rapid in recent years, and the
committee does not expect the pace of change to slow down in
the foreseeable future. While some technologies are reaching
maturity now, many important technologies have enormous future
potential.
Technology Challenges: Potential future technological
capabilities and innovations are largely unpredictable, and
their implications and interactions are complex. Investing in
extensive and effective data gathering, a robust
infrastructure for analyzing these data, and
multidisciplinary research will enable a deeper
understanding of emerging changes in technology and the
workforce.
Technology Development: They create opportunities for new
products, services, organizational processes, and business
models as well as opportunities for automating existing
tasks, even whole occupations.
