Hi, I am an Architect with a heart of an opportunist and a soul of an artist.
This portfolio provides short descriptions of the major projects I have worked on since the beginning of my academic career.
The projects are organized in reverse chronological order ranging from professional to academic works.
Thank you for your consideration.
As you meander through this portfolio, you will notice that
I have worked in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Fine Arts. And that I am currently studying for a Masters in Landscape Architecture degree at Texas A&M University. That my undergraduate degrees in Architecture and past work experience have given me a strong interdisciplinary foundation. However, above all what I hope you would take away is that I am an artist at heart. I am an ardent admirer of nature and a firm believer in “design process.”
At its core my work explores the inherent harmony between human spaces and natural environs, and how they can be an extension of each other. My craft is shaped by influences from nature herself, famous and not-so-famous art and design, extant public spaces both in the East and the West, environmental science, and health systems. And my goal is pretty simple, (or is it?): Let’s make the world a better and brighter place to live in!

2. PAVING PROJECT ON EAGLE AND DAVISBURG
ROAD
The project comprised of the paving of the
approaches of Eagle road on both the North and
South intersection with Davisburg road.
My responsibilities included the initial design
of the turning radii and curbs, then the facilitation
of the construction by working on the team that
took the grade shots and calculated the cut & fill
volumes for the road base. Also the layout and
staking of the intended design using intruments
like the theodolite, hubs and spray paint to
communicate conscisely the design to the
contractor.
Finally I worked with the supervising team
to ensure the project followed the specifications
from start to finish.
3. PAVING PROJECT ON ORION AND GALLAGHER ROAD 2016
The project comprised of the paving of the approaches of Eagle road on both the North and South
intersection with Davisburg road.
My responsibilities were similar to those of the Davisburg project, but in addition to the previously
mentioned tasks, during the duration of this project I took samples of concrete for the cylinder test and
assessed the condition of the existing manhole and the guardrails of the Bridge.
4. DRAINAGE DESIGN ON LONG POINTE DRIVE 2016
The project comprised of the Design and construction of
a drainage system to reduce the volume of surface water
run on the swale.
I and another colleague designed a simple system
to incorporate some pipes to connect the culverts
underground while the ditch of the swale was raised. In
other to do this we had to take existing measurements
on-site and deduce the resultant new elevations of the
lawn. Then we made several studies to ensure that the
new elevations would drain sufficiently.
Following the completion of the design, we put
together the necessary documents for vendors to supply
the structures needed for the construction.

6. HOSPITAL DESIGN IN BENIN CITY 2013
This was a part of a larger design development that
comprised of a Mall, Housing estate, School, and the
Hospital on one large site. It was to be handled by
graduate students in groups of four.
We worked together as a group to obtain relevant
background information to facilitate our designs, and
eventually had a group defense of our work. Asides
from my input in the group research, I was tasked
with the design of the Hospital.

8. FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE 2013
This was a design project for the second semester of
my Post graduate program. It entailed the design of a
faculty accomodating 4 departments of Architecture,
and located at the Lagoon front of the
University of Lagos.
The emphasis in my design was to maximise the
potential of the site and its environs while
downplaying the constraints. This was done
in many ways, noticeable amongst which were the
building structure straddling the road so as not to
obstuct the thoroughfare, and the sun-shading
configurations of the fenestration

10. Floor Plans
COMMUNITY SPORTS CENTER 2015
This was a design project for the fourth
semester of my Post graduate program.
It was a community sports center for
Badagry.
The project had two major facilities on
the site which were an indoor sports
building and a soccer & athletics arena.

12. DESIGN OF INTERIOR RESIDENTIAL SPACES (2008)
A minor This exercise was a project done in my final
year of undergraduate studies. It entailed the
conceptualization of interior spaces in terms of
spatial function and furniture configuration, and
then the rendering and presentation of the resultant
works.
13. MIXED HOSTEL DESIGN 2013
A mixed hostel designed to be sited close to the
back-gate of the University of Lagos. The
project entailed the design of the hostels as well
as the planning of the access and zoning of the
site.
14. DESIGN-BUILD OF O.A.A.N SECRETARIAT (2011)
My major role was to serve as a link between the
main architect and the sub-contractors by use of
graphics communication. I also obtained some first-
hand training on site supervision during the course
of 3 months
