We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

76. These birds are among the smallest of prey, characterized by short and wide
wings, and an elongated tail, an adaptive feature that enables them to
maneuver between trees. The pawns are similar in appearance to the Eurasian
sparrowhawk, but can be distinguished from them by their shorter tail and
tapered wings, which give them a hawk-like appearance. The length of the
pawn ranges between 30 and 37 centimeters, and its wingspan ranges between
63 and 76 centimeters. The female is larger than the male, but the difference is
not noticeable to the same degree as the difference between the sexes of the
Eurasian sparrowhawk. The color of the back is gray in the male, while it is
brown in the female, and the abdomen is white in both. It has a short horny
black beak and yellow feet. Juveniles are brown on the upper body and striped
with dark stripes on the chest. Typical flight of these birds is two flaps,
followed by gliding with the wind. They are a partridge (migratory) that winter
in Egypt, the Levant and Iraq to the southwest of Iran, and they cross in huge
flocks, unlike their relative, the more common Eurasian sparrowhawk. These
sparrowhawks prey on small birds, insects and lizards that live in woodlands
On the element of surprise, she jumps from one perch to another, then pounces
on her expulsion and takes her by surprise.

437–845 g (15.4–29.8 oz) for males and 670–1,400 g (24–49 oz) for females
on average. The head has a small crest, and the legs are yellow. The plumage
tone is variable but may be dark brown except for dark-streaked grey
undersides to the flight feathers, and a barred grey undertail. Light and dark
plumage phases occur.Apale variant may be much lighter brown with whitish,
rather than grey undertail and flight feather undersides. The pale variant is
much less common than the darker variant.Wahlberg's eagle is distributed from
central Chad to the north-east coast of SouthAfrica. Its western boundary is
thought to be Cameroon, although it most commonly occurs further east across
the continent. Within this large range, it usually remains between sea-level and
1,800 m (5,900 ft), but has also been documented at an altitude of 2,800 m

This small falcon has a length of 30-36 cm with long pointed wings.
The long tail has a broad black terminal band. This falcon has strong
sexual dimorphism in its plumage. Males have a chestnut back and a
blue-grey crown, neck, rump, and tail. Their belly is a creamy pink
with small brown streaks. The eye ring is bright yellow while the
feet are an orange-yellow. The undersides of the wings are white
with a black tip. Females have a brown back and head with a pale
belly. Both the back and belly are streaked with brown. The wings
are also light with dark barring and black tips. Juvenile lesser
kestrels look similar to the females.Lesser kestrels are found in
bushed, wooded, and open grassland and cultivation. They nest on
mountain slopes, gorges, deep ravines, and other rocky terrain, all of
which must have open areas around them for the birds to hunt. They
are found most numerously in highland farming regions and on
grassy plains during the winter range.

Falco tinnunculus is among the smallest of all raptors. Adults range
in weight from 150 to 190 g, with females tending to be larger than
males. Common kestrels have longer tails and wingspans relative to
their body size than most other falcons, which allow them to be
easily distinguished from related species. Common kestrel plumage
ranges from gray to brown. The back is usually a darker color than
the breast, both are covered in dark brown or black spots. The wings
are tipped in black on the dorsal side and are pale underneath. Males
often have a more bluish-gray heads and tails. Females are more of a
reddish-brown color and have barring on the tail. In both sexes, there
is a darker stripe or spot underneath each eye.Common kestrels
prefer open, grassy fields and farmlands, which give them sufficient
open areas to hunt. They can sometimes be found in forested areas
and marshlands. Common kestrels occupy a wide range of altitudes,
from sea level to almost 5000 m.

Eleonora’s falcons are medium-sized falcons, of similar length to peregrine
falcons (F. peregrinus), but much lighter in weight and build. Like all other
falcons, Eleonora’s falcons show reversed sexual size dimorphism, with
females on average slightly larger than males. Males vary in length from 37
to 43 cm, females from 38.5 to 45.5 cm, and in weight, males range from
350 to 390 g, females from 340 to 460 g. The shortest wingspan
measurement for an Eleonora’s falcon was 84 cm, while large females may
have a wingspan of up to 103 cm. Eleonora’s falcons have long, narrow
wings that exceed the tip of the long tail when folded. There are two color
morphs, a light and a dark morph. Dark morph birds are all brown, and may
appear black from a distance. The male’s cere is yellow in color while the
female’s is blue-gray. Light morph birds are also dark brown above and buff
to rufous below with dark streaking. The light morph also shows the typical
dark moustache stripe.Eleonora’s falcons commonly breed on the ground on
small, rocky, undisturbed islands with little vegetation. On larger islands,
such as Sicily and Sardinia, and on the mainland in Africa and Turkey, they
seek inaccessible coastal cliffs to breed. They hunt over the open sea, as
well as over wetlands, grasslands, and sometimes woodlands. Nest sites are
found from sea-level to an elevation of 2,000 meters.

Sakers exhibit great variation in color and pattern, ranging from a fairly
uniform chocolate brown color to a cream or straw base with brown bars or
streaks to brown-eyed leucistic individuals, which are especially prized by
Arab falconers. In general, sakers have white or pale spots on the inner webs
of their tail feathers, rather than the bars of color that are common among
other desert falcons. As the underwing is usually pale, it has a translucent
appearance when contrasted against the dark axillaries and primary
tips.Saker females are markedly larger than males; females typically weigh
970 to 1300 g (average 1135 g), have an average length of 55 cm, and a
wingspan of 120 to 130 cm. Males usually weigh from 730 to 990 grams
(average 840 g), are about 45 cm long on average, and have a wingspan of
100 to 110 cm.As with other falcons, sakers have sharp, curved talons, used
primarily for grasping prey. Sakers use their powerful, hooked beak to sever
the prey’s vertebral column.Sakers occupy stick nests in trees, about 15 to
20 meters above the ground, in parklands and open forests at the edge of the
tree line. No one has ever observed a saker falcon building its own stick
nest; they generally occupy abandoned nests of other bird species, and
sometimes even drive owners from an occupied nest. In the more rugged
areas of their range, sakers have been known to use nests on cliff ledges,
about 8 to 50 meters above the base.

It is similar to the peregrin falcon, but smaller at 33–39 cm (13-15.3
inch) length with a wingspan of 76–98 cm (30-38.6 inch). It has
characteristic plumage, and adults can be recognised from
peregrines. Some regard it as a distinct species since it is
specialised to a desert environment. Recently, it has been found to
be genetically similar to other subspecies of the peregrine falcon,
so it is now considered a subspecies. The female is larger than the
male. It resembles its relative in general structure. Female Barbary
Falcons are as large as male peregrine falcons. Adults have paler
grey-blue upperparts than the peregrine falcon and often have a
buff wash to the barred underparts, whereas the larger species has a
white background color. The nape is rufous, but this is difficult to
see. Sexes are similar, apart from size, but the young birds have
brown upperparts and streaked underparts. The streaking is lighter
than in the juvenile peregrine falcon. The call is a high-pitched
"rek-rek-rek". The Barbary falcon is native to parts of North and
East Africa. It is also common in the Middle East.
