WORLD WAR II
In the world war 2, there were two teams called the Axis and the Allies.
The countries and sides were
Allies Axis
Russia Germany
Britain Italy
Poland Japan
France
United States
Greece
Australia
South Africa and more.
WHAT COUNTRIES
FOUGHT IN THE
WORLD WAR II?
Germany first started the world war II by invading and bombing Poland. Germany had signed the
treaty of Versailles which was to confirm that they wouldn’t start a war however they did not follow
once they had a new leader. Then they built up there army and decided to invade Poland.
WHO STARTED THE
WORLD WAR II
Britain's president during the World War 2 was Winston Churchill. May 1940 was
when Winston Churchill became president as before that Chamberlain was the
president.
WHO WAS THE PRESIDENT OF
BRITAIN DURING THE WORLD WAR II
The other picture is the field after World War 2.
THE FIRST PICTURE IS THE STREETS
AFTER WORLD WAR 2 ( HORRIBLE)
Evacuees were people who were removed from the place that they were living in to another place usually to the country side. There
family wouldn’t be able to come with then so they had a choice . However this was a difficult choice, they could keep there children but
risk them dying, or they could let them go and possibly never see them again. Most peoples mums chose to let them go as they loved them
dearly. The children could have been truly terrified to leave as they would be living with a random person and making a new family and
new friends.
EVACUEES
This means that we will never forget the soldiers as we will not!
LEST WE FORGET
