Establish an interactive ELIXIR-wide training community across all member
states that coherently delivers ELIXIR-related training
Build sustainable Training Infrastructure:
• Technical: TeSS training portal, elearning platform, Virtual Coffee room, Best practices guidelines, Metrics
• People: coordinate training activities in 21 (!) nodes
Developing and providing training in selected gap areas for:
• Developers and Infrastructure operators
• Researchers
• Trainers
Globally embedded:
• GOBLET, BD2K/TCC, CODATA-RDA, EDISON, H3ABioNet, SWC/DC, CHARME, PRACE

5. ELIXIR Train the Trainer Programme
Objectives:
• To deliver a framework with associated materials and guidelines for training new trainers
across ELIXIR
• To build a highly-skilled and coherent community of mindful instructors
Since start of EXCELERATE: 7 pilot workshops, 53 trainees from 12 Nodes
• Rolling out further from 2018
• From Jan2018 supplemented with Staff Exchange programme
