This document outlines an electronics course covering basic electronic devices. The course contains 5 units that cover semiconductor diodes, bipolar junction transistors, field effect transistors, special semiconductor devices like MESFETs and CNTFETs, and power devices and displays. The objectives are to acquaint students with the construction, theory, and operation of PN junction diodes, transistors, power devices, LEDs, LCDs and other optoelectronic components. Students will learn about the characteristics and models of diodes, transistors and other devices. At the end of the course, students will be able to explain the characteristics of diodes, transistors and power devices and operate basic electronic components.
