This document outlines a case study examining parents' perspectives of post-diagnostic training in an autism service. It discusses the increased prevalence of autism diagnoses, long waiting lists for diagnosis, and reduced intervention time. The study utilized mixed methods including questionnaires, observations, and interviews to capture parents' experiences in the transition from diagnosis to post-diagnosis and their views of a multi-disciplinary, evidence-based parent training program intended as an intervention. The goals were to inform service delivery to better meet parents' needs and develop an evidence base on post-diagnostic parent training in Ireland.
