• Operating Rooms (OR) is the area of the hospital
most-capital and resource-intensive
• Usually is the area with less control and
monitoring from the management point of view
• Surgeries are manually arranged potentially not
doing optimal resource allocation
• Sometimes human errors emerge, delaying or
canceling surgeries (i.e. more internal resources
are needed than the currently available)

5. SOLUTION
• We developed an intelligent system to arrange the
surgeries, avoiding any human error and even
finding optimal arrangements, so the hospital can
perform more surgeries, using more efficiently
those expensive resources and boosting the
hospital revenue
• Furthermore, we also perform Business Intelligence
and reporting, so the hospital manager is able to
understand the current situation and improve the
hospital productivity and efficiency

• We have found that most hospitals use an Excel file to perform
the OR management, and in some cases, they have no tool at all,
just writing down the information in a paper
• Some huge HIS (Hospital Information System) provide some help
to perform the surgeries scheduling but usually are very difficult
to use and very expensive for the hospital
• We aim to provide an easy-to-use tool, at a very affordable price,
so any hospital can have a tight control of the OR and surgeries
• Also we rely on algorithms and data analytics to bring the most
powerful and real time information for the decision taking
process
