7. SUGGESTIONS
1. Classroom Rules: An approach
1. Every class should have a colourful display of classroom rules.
2. It should contain 8-10 rules.
3. Let the students submit the list of rules and the most relevant one will be
displayed.
4. Students should take a pledge of the classroom rules on first day of every
month.
5. If most of the rules are followed, then for next month, those rules will be
removed.
6. Based on that, each class will have a discipline ratings on 10 point scale.
7. Class with highest rating should be rewarded.
8. 2. Mobility of Students
1. Every class should have two OUT PASS cards with the monitor
2. Any student, who wants to go out of the classroom, must carry the out pass with him/her
3. Nobody will be allowed to be in the corridor or anywhere without having the out pass.
4. By default, maximum two students can go out at a time.
5. Any teacher, when see a student moving outside, can just ask whether he/she has the out
pass or not, otherwise can send them to the class.
9. To be avoided in the class room(for teachers)
1. Sadness/off mood.
2. Less attention to back benchers.
3. Corporal punishment.
4. Partial/non judicious to some students.
5. Poor /objectionable dress code.
6. Negative attitude.
7. Mistakes on black/white board or in teaching.
8. Loose tongue-speaks ills of others
